Human Resources and Volunteer Management

This course provides students with in-depth knowledge of common human resources techniques. The course will focus on volunteer and staff resources needed to effectively plan, co-ordinate and execute events. In addition to an emphasis is on recruitment, supervision, training, evaluation, and recognition of staff, volunteer management will be developed. Many events are completely volunteer-driven, this course will develop students' skills in managing, motivating, planning, recruiting, training, scheduling and evaluating volunteers.
