Combinations of substrates and both point and paint media will be further explored in increasing depth. Traditional, established, professional approaches such as pencil, ink, line and wash, opaque and transparent water colour, as well as scratchboard will be developed to a professional level. Students will be encouraged to begin to focus on preferred mediums and individual stylistic expression as they continue in the development of creative maturity as a visual artist. Innovative responses to visual challenges will continue to train the imagination and ignite the evolution of individual expression.
