This course will introduce the student to legal and administrative procedures of a civil litigation law practice. Topics will include litigation resources, including the rules of civil procedure; legal terminology; and legal correspondence and documents. The student will use Microsoft Word 2010 and InForm court forms software in a simulated setting of a professional law office environment. Practical experience will be gained through a field placement in a law office for seven weeks.
