Although interior decorators are not responsible for designing mechanical or electrical systems, they must often co-ordinate the location of the visible elements of these systems within the overall design. This course provides an introduction to a building's mechanical and electrical systems, familiarity with industry terminology, and an understanding of the design opportunities and limitations related to these systems.
