This course is an introduction to the professional and personal skills that are expected of Child and Youth Care Practitioners in the field. Topics include ethical practice, self-awareness and constructive use of clinical supervision. Students will also become familiar with the process of choosing their second and third program internships and be able to practice responding effectively in an interview situation. An important objective for this course is for the student to begin to assess, develop and evaluate goals regarding their own personal and professional growth. Prerequisite for CYC 159, CYC 161
