Build on your knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts. You will be introduced to many of the most important library classes that form part of the Java language. You will use these concepts to write Java applications and object-oriented principles to perform tasks such as generating graphical user interfaces, handling exceptions, reading from and writing to files, interacting with databases and communicating with other computers over a network. This course builds on CPAN 140 Object-Oriented Programming using Java.
