In this course, students are introduced to the practice of political reporting in Canada. Through readings, viewings and discussion, students explore the historical development of political reportage and its modern iterations at the municipal, provincial and national levels. At the same time, through field assignments, students will pursue a practical study of current applications and realities at three levels of government: municipal, provincial, and federal.
