This course is an introduction to reading and preparing drawings for construction purposes using CAD technology. The primary focus is to learn the basic CAD commands while preparing landscape drawings with construction details. This course is also an introduction to 3-dimentional thinking that is translated to a 2-dimentional drawing format. Students also prepare drawings that are of professional quality for use in their future portfolios. The course is a prerequisite for the sequential courses as the base skill set for all design and contract documents to be presented and evaluated.
