This course focuses on mapping out the marketing development process that informs design and advertising planners. Through the use of current industry examples and case studies, students learn to think strategically, develop strategic advertising and graphic design solutions, sell using strategic rationale and fully understand the marketing planning process as it applies to advertising and design.The content of this course allows for the potential inclusion of an Ad Centre project when the outcomes match the course requirements. In a situation when an appropriate project is available, all details of the project substitution are communicated in class and through a written addendum to all enrolled students.
