This course covers three specific construction materials using industrial and commercial construction as a reference point. The topics include masonry wall construction, structural steel and steel frame construction and fundamentals of concrete. The three construction materials are examined as they relate to product manufacturing, properties, characteristics, types, function, uses, application, performance and job-site installation procedures.
