This course teaches students to apply fundamental knowledge of the meridian and acupuncture points in TCM diagnosis and treatment. It introduces the concepts of channels, collaterals, and the properties of acupuncture points including the regular points of the 14 channels and the extra points. Through classroom and simulation, students will learn how to locate points and apply knowledge of precautions and contraindications for application of acupuncture on the points.
