Knowledge of 3D animation is a quintessential skill for the aspiring game programmer. It is important for a programmer to understand the basics of animation and modelling 3D objects. In conjunction with modelling 3D objects, students learn how to use and manipulate these objects in an engine. In this course, students create their own objects, attribute animation sequences to objects and insert them to a 3D engine for use. Additionally, topics such as texturing, lighting, exporting and importing objects are discussed and applied to their projects.
