Course Description
This Clinical Practicum course will prepare students to provide care to families during the childbearing years. The principles of primary healthcare will be utilized by nursing students during this experience. The Practicum will include acute care, obstetrical experience as well as health promotion activities working with families including children up to six years of age, within a community practice setting.
