GAME 104

Academic Year

2016-2017

This course covers the fundamental mathematics needed for game programmers. The Cartesian plane will be introduced and the concepts associated with trigonometry will be investigated, as they are vital for creating computer graphics. This leads to the concept of vectors and matrices, which are used extensively in the industry to manipulate objects in a video game. The course concludes with an investigation into solving linear and quadratic equations. The concept in this course will be further reinforced through programing exercises.
