Course Description
This course continues the study of medications and their effects on clients who are receiving drugs for gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, reproductive, central and autonomic nervous systems. The preparation and administration of intravenous infusions, blood products, immunizing agents, and drugs by the intramuscular routes will be included. There is an emphasis on intravenous dosage calculations and on the role of the practical nurse in pharmacotherapeutics.
