An introduction to the basic requirements of oil burning equipment as they relate to the appropriate codes will be discussed. Topics will include an introduction to oil laws and codes, fuel oil properties and characteristics, combustion and draft theories, efficiency testing, oil storage and delivery, oil controls, oil appliances and annual maintenance requirements.
