This course is designed to provide a broad foundation of planning knowledge and project management skills specific to arts and cultural organizations. Topics such as strategic planning, project and special event management, contingency planning and change management will be discussed in the context of organizational processes serving artistic vision. Emphasis will be placed on building appropriately upon other academic and practical disciplines including development, communications, and finances, as well as their application within the structure of applied planning processes.
