Course Description
The understanding of post-production and its supervision is vital to a well-rounded media professional. Since post-production is the culmination of the production process, it is beneficial for students to be fully aware of the sequence and issues surrounding this process. Through the use of lecture, practical exercises and assignments, discussions, guest speakers, tours and handouts, this course will provide the students with a clear and thorough understanding of the post-production supervision process, detailed from pre-production through to wrap. The first semester will give the students an overview of post-production and the role of the post-production supervisor within the professional production environment.
