Course Description
Students participating in this course will learn to work unsupervised in both Macintosh and PC environment. They will also become familiar with the basic technological components of computer systems used in the post world, including both hardware and software - operating systems, file formats, media codecs, file resolutions and the process of converting among these using batch conversion tools. Students will also learn some basic colour theory, design techniques, and their application using the industry standard illustration program, Adobe Illustrator. They will then apply what they've learned about file management and design in the process of authoring and printing a DVD of their own project material.
