Course Description
In this course, major and minor students will further their skills in non-linear video editing. Using the software systems introduced in PPFT 502, students will learn about the effects and title tools of each system, apply advanced file management functions and input and output video and audio files in the systems using different methods: EDLs, import, export and tape output with colour bars, reference tone and proper time code. Majors will further apply these skills by logging, digitizing, and outputting a project and bring it into an editing suite.
