Course Description
In this course, students will further develop their knowledge of audio recording, mixing and editing. Project work will require them to apply skills in all these areas to finish the audio mix for a number of short films. All of the primary disciplines of post audio will be addressed by students on their projects: dialog conform and editing, ADR, foley, sound effects editing and design, music editing, mixing and layback/mastering. Students will also screen various scenes from different film and television projects, both for planning audio post and for analyzing the composition of finished mixes.
