Professional Skin Care

This course familiarizes students with the ingredients used in the production of cosmetic, skin and body-care products as they relate to marketing issues. A survey of generic skin types, cosmetic categories, ingredients and the manufacturing process provides a good basis for developing the students? knowledge of cosmetic products. Students will have an opportunity to perform a client consultation and make recommendations to their clients based on their skin type and conditions that will not only reveal any contraindications but give you an idea of what the client?s expectations are of the service.
