Course Description

This course examines the human relations and crisis intervention work of the paramedic. Classroom experiences will be combined with ideas and concepts from the human sciences to provide an integrated understanding of the complexities of dealing with the intervention and management of crisis situations, and with the impact of crisis and trauma on patients, paramedics, and their families.
Only students in the Paramedic program can take this course.
