In this course, students will trace human development from conception to death, studying the many physical and psychological changes that occur over the span of a lifetime. Organized chronologically, the course will address a number of important questions including: How does heredity and environment combine to produce particular developmental outcomes? What behavioural, emotional, cognitive, and personality characteristics are associated with specific age groups? How can we best understand the changes that we, and the people close to us, experience over the course of our lives?
