This course is designed to provide students with an overview of legal liability and negligence in the sport and recreation industry. The process of risk management will be examined in detail. Students will learn risk identification and techniques to manage and minimize the potential for harm to participants, thereby reducing the likelihood of liability lawsuits being brought against service providers.
