This course will provide students with the knowledge, tools and techniques to research, implement and execute fundraising projects and programs. Through lectures, and individual and group study, students will learn about the various types of fundraising opportunities in the field, and how to execute grant applications. This course will also stress the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary in working with volunteers. Students will develop strategies to meet the increasing demand to effectively work with volunteers.
