This course involves the use of manufacturers' literature to size, select and balance components to refrigeration systems will be done to satisfy design criteria. The introduction of commercial refrigeration load principles and calculations will also be covered as will troubleshooting techniques for commercial refrigeration equipment and systems. The course concludes with training to enable the student to be certified by the MOE (Ministry of Environment) for the Province of Ontario for ozone depletion awareness. An optional exam will be held for those wishing to obtain certification.
