Relationships and Interpersonal Skills

In this course, students explore the complexities of various professional relationships in which massage therapists engage. Students develop both a theoretical and practical understanding of the expectations of communication throughout a clinical encounter. They have the opportunity to practice the theoretical approaches to dealing with a variety of practical situations through role-playing of ethical cases. Problem-solving models and conflict resolution will also be discussed.
