The first of two semesters are devoted to story development. In this semester, students focus on developing a strong character for their final thesis project. Transmedia and multi-platform venues are explored and students are highly encouraged to adopt or integrate these approaches as they move towards determining their final thesis project. Rewriting and editing continue to be emphasized with in-class group writing workshops.
