In this course, students read and analyze the basic elements of story: plot, character, setting, voice and dialogue - and write short-form creative narrative for an audience (fiction and or or non-fiction), including at least one screenplay using conventional screenplay format. Students have the opportunity to reflect on their writing process and provide and receive constructive criticism in a workshop setting.
