This hands-on course introduces students to the basic functionality of SolidWorks (3D) mechanical design software. Students will develop the skills and methodologies to create 3D parametric models of parts and assemblies, as well as 2D drawings of assemblies and component details. A series of practical design exercises build competency in the use of commands and functionality while giving exposure to practical engineering examples.
