Course Description
Integrative Seminar provides an opportunity for students to discuss problems and situations that arise in field practice, and to integrate learning acquired from academic courses with practical experiences. It is an opportunity to discuss a range of topics, which will include - but not be limited to the following: legal and ethical issues in social work practice, using supervision appropriately; boundary issues with clients and co-workers; broader systemic issues; dealing with personal and professional limitations; and self care (i.e., setting up personal care networks).
