Students will examine the considerations and strategies involved in developing an investment plan. The course also deals with the tools that a financial planner must possess to make a proper evaluation of an investment and its suitability to clients such as fundamental and technical analysis, investment theory and financial economics. The new demographic reality will be examined, i.e. un-savers along with an overall perspective on wealth de-cumulation. Intergenerational wealth transfers will be considered, as well as the different strategies at different stages of life and the varying requirements of the family unit.
