Structural Analysis

Structural Analysis covers both statically determinate and statically indeterminate structures. Beam and frame structures are solved using classical structural analysis methods. The application of recognized computer analysis software is introduced. Practical structures in timber, steel and concrete are analyzed using conventional analysis methods and commercially available computer analysis software. The material covered provides the foundation for the Timber, Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete and Infrastructure Rehabilitation Design courses.
