A review of the history of advertising, communication design and branding provides a foundation for students to survey the current state of the industry, and its influence on culture, society, economics, politics and the media. Research into agencies and campaigns of the past and present, and active engagement in recognizing current key players, issues, policies and practices of this industry will be undertaken in this course.
