Technical Project

A detailed technical study of a faculty approved project. The project must have an engineering (controls) focus, it must solve a problem and it must clearly demonstrate an understanding of the five elements of a good technical project, namely comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation of the topic material.A comprehensive report, complete with all relevant drawings, schematics, costing and supporting data, including an oral presentation, will be required. Students are encouraged to work with an industry mentor to ensure need, relevance and currency.
