Course Description
This mathematics course will emphasize the application of mathematics to the solution of practical problems. Topics to be covered include numerical computation; British and metric units; introduction to algebra; simple equations, functions and graphs; perimeters, areas and volumes; right triangles and vectors; factors and factoring; fractions and fractional equations; ratio and proportion; system of two linear equations; quadratic equations; oblique triangle and plane analytic geometry.
