In this course, students learn how to work safely in a potentially dangerous environment. Specifically, they learn how to identify hazardous conditions and how to identify/comply to prevent workplace accidents. Personal, workplace and welding machinery/equipment are emphasized throughout the course. WHMIS & lockout procedures will also be covered. The course is delivered in a Lab/Lecture format.
