The course provides an investigation of interactive design as it relates to a variety of media types. Using industry standard tools, students will learn to design, implement and refine interactive websites for specific audiences. This course introduces the elements and principles of the planning, design and scripting of interactive multimedia and website design for optimal usability. The relationships between text, graphics, audio, video, animation and interactivity will be identified and explored. Students should expect to incorporate art/design theory, psychology, commercial business practice and creative problem solving. (e.g., database and Flash integration)
