Web Media

A large variety of media can now be embedded natively within an HTML5 document. Video and Audio can be embedded and controlled using JavaScript code or using standards-compliant JavaScript libraries. Knowing how to properly embed, position and style various forms of media is important when creating a modern web site. In addition students will venture into the realm of Social Media and the various ways it can be embedded within a website the help it gain popularity. Students will be shown how to write well-structured code and where to place it in relation to a web page document structure.
