This course introduces the students to the basic level in the use of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) & Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW). Students will be expected to weld ferrous metals, select the appropriate machine, power source, set the controls, utilize the appropriate welding accessories, prepare material for welding, etc. The course is delivered in a Lab/Lecture format.
