This course expands on the core skills introduced in Writing Principles: Introduction, focusing on applying fundamental principles to more complex tasks and advanced techniques. The course deepens students' understanding of communications strategies by examining real-world case studies as sources for best practices in communications policy (internal versus external) and audience profiling. Students continue to develop their professional writing skills with tasks that focus on more advanced topics such as information design, drafting, and revising.
