Dr. Craig James, faculty member and director of the Centre for Education & Community at York University will be presenting.

Workshop participants will learn strategies to:

  • tap into and maximize the diversity within the black student body to enrich academic success
  • increase students' ownershipof and engagement in their learning by leveraging the high expectations that black communities have of their youth
