Making a tribute gift, both in honour of or in memory of someone or to celebrate a special occasion, is a meaningful way to recognize friends and loved ones.
Tribute gifts made to Humber can be designated towards a specific area of interest, often to support an area of importance to the person being remembered, or unrestricted, allowing Humber to direct funds to the areas of greatest need.
Gifts in Honour
Gifts made in honour of someone are a wonderful way to acknowledge a former professor or colleague, to express your thanks for a special act, or to honour a special occasion in lieu of gifts as a way of making the event even more meaningful.
Memorial Gifts
Memorial donations are a significant way to pay tribute to a relative, friend or colleague who has passed away. When you make a gift in memory of a special person, you honour their life by helping us enhance the quality of education future students of Humber will receive.
When you make a tribute gift, a card with your special message will be sent to the individual that is being honoured (or to their closest family member) to acknowledge your generous donation (without revealing the specific amount).
