How do I make a donation?

When will I receive a charitable tax receipt for my donations?
Receipts are issued immediately for all donations, with the exception of monthly donations. Monthly donors will receive a charitable tax receipt for the total annual amount at the end of the year.

How may I update my donor information with you?
If you would like to update your name, address, phone number or you would like to update your credit card or banking information for your monthly gift, you may contact the Humber Advancement Office at 416-673-0152 or giving@humber.ca

Can my donation benefit a specific area of the college?
Yes, you have many designating options. For example, your gift may be used to set up a student scholarship within a specific school or program, or contribute to one of the many capital projects underway at Humber. For more specific information as to where you may designate your gift, please contact the Humber Advancement Office at 416.673.0152 or giving@humber.ca

Will Humber send out cards in honour or in memory of an individual?
Yes. We have many donors who make gifts in honour of an individual or to celebrate a special occasion, or in memory of someone special. When you make such a gift, a card with your special message will be sent to the individual who is being honoured (or to their closest family member), to acknowledge your generous donation.

When an ‘in memory’ or ‘in honour’ gift is made, is the amount of the donation disclosed?
No. The Advancement Office respects the privacy of donors and keeps this information confidential.
