If you are a first year or returning student in the School of Health Sciences, Massage Therapy Program or the School of Community and Social Services you are required to complete your immunization requirements before being allowed into placement.
You can either see your own doctor OR come to the Health Centre to look after your immunization requirements. You will need to do this before the start of your first semester.
Please be aware that this process may take several weeks to months to complete as immunization requirements may vary from person to person.
The Health Centre is NOT held responsible for students missing their placements related to late immunization record reviews.
Please come to the Health Centre and speak to the receptionist. She will register you and book your appointment with the nurse who will advise you of your immunization requirements.
When you come for your nurse appointment you must provide the following:
