Nurse Practitioner Appointments

You are able to see the nurse practitioner without a Health card.

Carole Gionet N.P. is available for appointments at the following times:

North Campus	Tuesdays and Fridays 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM Thursdays 8:30 PM – 12:30 PM
Lakeshore Campus	Wednesday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are registered nurses with specialized training to diagnose and treat infections such as colds, earaches, bladder infections and sexually transmitted infections. They can also diagnose and treat common injuries such as sprains and cuts.

The NP is able to offer lab tests, x-rays, ultrasounds and pap smears. As well she can provide counselling on various health issues such as birth control, pregnancy, sexual health and smoking cessation.
