Communications

College graduates need to communicate effectively. Employers are requiring graduates to be increasingly more skilled in their language abilities: reading, writing, and speaking. They must know how to read and interpret information and communicate their ideas both orally and in writing. At present, the communications program focuses on writing. As part of their program requirements, Humber students are usually required to complete at least two communications courses. These courses are designed to help them perform the writing tasks that will be expected of them in their program courses and later on in their careers.
