What faculty need to do if a student misses a test?
If a student misses a test, or must rewrite one, you may require the student to write it in the Test Centre. Please remember that the Test Centre is not to be used as a substitute for regular classroom testing.

Tests should be submitted to the Test Centre with a completed Test Centre Referral Form, available from your divisional office or the Centre. Your instructions on this form will be followed exactly so please make sure that all pertinent information is included. Exams may not be emailed or faxed as security and technical issues arise. If you need to submit an exam but cannot get to the Test Centre in person, please contact your division and have them submit it. Any changes to tests (i.e. extension of completion dates, materials allowed, etc.) must be arranged with the Test Centre by phone or in person, not through the student.
Exams are kept in a secure file until the student arrives to write. To ensure security faculty must pick up completed tests from the Centre themselves.
Appointments are not necessary, unless the use of a computer is required, and students should allow themselves enough time to complete their test before the Centre’s closing time. The student must know the instructor’s surname as this is how the tests are filed. One piece of photo identification is required.
