M1

  • Temporary licence is a written permit that you get from a Drive Test Centre
  • It must be held for a minimum of 60 days and will expire after 90 days
  • You are permitted to take the Humber Learn to Ride course (codes 010 or 016) at any time as long as the licence is valid for the duration of our course
    • You must maintain 0.0 % alcohol in your blood stream
    • Rider is not permitted to carry a passenger
    • Must stay away from 400 series highways or roads that exceed 80 km/h
    • Daylight hours of operation - ½ hour before sunrise to ½ hour after sunset
  • Earn your M2 by taking the Humber Learn to Ride course (code 010 or 016)
  • Temporary licence valid for a minimum of 18 months if done by an approved course provider or 22 months if done at Drive Test
  • Valid for a maximum of 5 years
    • You must maintain 0.0 % alcohol in your blood stream
  • Permanent motorcycle licence
  • You can get your full M class motorcycle licence with Humber by doing our M2 Exit Course
    • The same rules and restrictions apply as with any other full class licence
